Applied Intelligence
AI that has to hold up under scrutiny.
Fortbridge AI designs, builds, and governs artificial intelligence systems for organizations where an unexplained output is not an acceptable answer. Strategy and readiness work, custom software, agent integration, and workflow automation — delivered as engineering, not experimentation.

Positioning
Most AI work fails on governance, not on models. We start from the decision the system will influence, establish how that decision gets evidenced, and build backwards into the technology.
Services
Four services, designed to be combined.
Engagements rarely stay in one lane. A readiness assessment surfaces a process worth automating; an automation exposes the need for a purpose-built tool; a tool eventually warrants an agent. We scope each service so it can stand alone or compound.
01
AI Strategy & Readiness
An honest assessment of where AI will pay for itself in your operation and where it will not. Process mapping, data readiness, build-versus-buy, sequencing, and a costed roadmap you can take to a board.
Service detail02
Custom AI Software & Tools
Purpose-built applications for work that off-the-shelf products handle badly: document-heavy review, structured extraction, internal knowledge retrieval, and decision-support tooling built around your actual data.
Service detail03
AI Agent Integration
Agents wired into the systems you already run, with explicit scopes, permission boundaries, human checkpoints, and logging. Deployed where autonomy earns its keep — and deliberately withheld where it does not.
Service detail04
Workflow Automation
End-to-end automation of the recurring, high-volume processes that consume skilled staff time — intake, triage, routing, reconciliation, and reporting — with exception handling designed in from the start.
Service detailWhy We Are Different
Governance is the product, not the paperwork.
Our clients operate under regulatory, legal, contractual, or operational scrutiny. For them, an AI system that produces a good answer without a defensible record of how it got there is a liability, not an asset.
So we treat evaluation, logging, access control, data handling, and human oversight as first-class deliverables — specified at design time and handed over as documentation, not retrofitted after go-live.
See how we workEvaluated
Measured against a defined baseline
Accuracy targets agreed before build, tested before handover.
Traceable
Inputs, outputs, and decisions logged
Every material action is reconstructable after the fact.
Bounded
Explicit scopes and permissions
Systems can only reach what they have been granted.
Owned
You hold the code and the keys
No dependency on us to operate what we built.
Who We Serve
Institutional first — but not institutional only.
Our standards were set by clients who answer to regulators and auditors. Those same standards benefit any organization serious about running AI in production rather than piloting it indefinitely.
01
Government & Public Sector
Procurement, casework, records, and constituent-facing operations.
02
Defense & Contractors
Compliance documentation, supplier analysis, and proposal operations.
03
Critical Infrastructure
Maintenance intelligence, incident triage, and reporting obligations.
04
Professional & Financial Services
Document review, client intake, research, and regulated communications.
05
Corporate Operations
Back-office throughput, internal knowledge, and reporting cycles.
06
Growth Companies
Teams scaling faster than headcount, needing leverage that holds.
Fortbridge Group
One group, three specialized arms.
Fortbridge AI is the applied intelligence arm of Fortbridge Group, alongside Fortbridge Solutions for sourcing, supply, and risk advisory, and Aegis One Protection for licensed protective operations.
The arms are deliberately separate. Each holds its own specialists and its own standards, and each can be engaged on its own. Where a requirement spans more than one — an operations client who also needs supply chain analysis, or a principal whose exposure is partly digital — the group coordinates under a single accountable program.
Direct via Fortbridge AI
For AI strategy, build, and automation work on its own terms.
Via the Group
For programs spanning supply, risk, protection, and intelligence.
Engagement
Start with the problem, not the technology.
Tell us the process that is costing you, the decision you need evidenced, or the capability you are trying to build. We scope the work before we propose it — and we will tell you when AI is the wrong instrument.
